Kids First Center offers a variety of co-parenting education classes and groups for parents to learn how to put the needs of their children first while dealing with the legal and financial pressures of divorce and separation. See its list of upcoming classes and schedule for options. Contact Kids First directly to learn more about the programs or to apply for financial assistance, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Need-based scholarships for Maine residents are made possible, in part, by a grant from the Maine Judicial Branch.

ParentWorks/Home Counselors, Inc.

Rockland
(207) 596-0359

HCI provides parent education classes through ParentWorks, a monthly 4-hour skill building workshop designed for families in transition. Because of small class sizes and an interactive format, presenters learn enough about each person’s situation to adjust presentations to individual needs and interests. See its registration information and a schedule of classes for options. Contact HCI directly to learn more about the program.
