Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for Court Holidays, Administrative Weeks and closings due to storms or emergencies.

Traveling down Park Street you will see a large parking lot on your left.

- No food or drink in courtrooms.
- No cell phones, cameras, or other electronic recording devices in courtrooms.

VLP Courthouse Assistance Project (CHAP) at the Lewiston District Court
The Volunteer Lawyers Project provides an in-person CHAP clinic on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., at the Lewiston District Court, subject to volunteer attorney availability. Thirty-minute consultations to qualified people in need of assistance with divorce, child custody, and related matters are available. No appointment is needed.
